Hoops for Hope was started by Blake LaMunyon and Bryan Smith of Highlands Ranch Colorado. Blake attended Manhattan Christian College where he met Yves Profit a Haitian student. Over the years they have remained close friends and Blake has made trips to Haiti assisting Yves in the development of Global Vision Citadel Ministries.

Bryan attended San Jose Christian College where he played basketball and earned a degree in Biblical studies and Physical Education. Together Blake and Bryan have a passion for people of Haiti as well as a passion for Basketball and hope that came come to the people of Haiti.

To make an impact in these schools and orphanages we need to raise money.
In the past we have shared the need and people have responded through
generous giving.

It is our goal to broaden the awareness of the need throughout Haiti.
We sponsor shoot-a-thons, basketball games, and partner with local schools
and community centers to raise funding. There are many creative ways to
raise funds and Hoops for Hope would welcome many ideas.
